Comments
Comments: November is gridded out! What a month!! Sooo mixed bag of weather today! We started up around 840 with maybe 20-30 skiers above us. Snowshoes from pavement to pavement today and could not have thought of spiking but sadly saw it happen. Clear and high skies to start out with and barely any winds! Was in our base layer until about the 5400’ which was nuts compared to yesterday! We could see the storm cells coming over franconia ridge and it was coming fast!!! We made it to the summit with the clouds and snow coming in. We changed our base layers and puffies which was perfect. The snow came in hard and quick! Full whiteout conditions and thankful at this point not being on skis because we could barely see with the clouds and snow about 10 feet in front of us. It only lasted maybe 5-10 minutes before it started to lift and then fully lift after jacobs ladder! I was back in my baselayer and running down in snowshoes. What a day!
