Found a single Yaktrax high higher up KRT. Left it at the trailhead kiosk. |

Much less snow here than on the east side of the notch. I barebooted up to the last water crossing then tossed the spikes on. These trails are pretty firm and fast right now. Snowpack on MKT was never more than a few inches deep, and KRT near the peaks was not much deeper. |
