After a jaunt up Hedgehog and nice time chatting with other hikers including BCH girl and Echo, we headed up Potash for the two-fer. Rock spikes for me as the trail was a mixed bag of dry and rocky, granular snowpack and mostly avoidable ice. Views were good despite the low cloud cover and some unexpected 10-15 mph wind in some exposed areas. We were lucky and thankful that the slab climb for the final ascent to the summit was clear and dry and not icy at all. Congrats to Fledge on 31 and 32 of his 52WAV. |
