Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues. The 1st water crossing is a very narrow one (3'-4' maybe). The 2nd (Dry Brook) crossing uses a very nice bridge.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdown (widow maker) around mile 1 (a little north of the 1st brook crossing). It's a white birch measuring approximately 8"-10" dbh. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Porcupine den around mile 2 from the Passaconaway Rd. Trailhead (when you begin seeing views into Conway/North Conway). Den is on left side of trail heading north toward summit of South Moat.

Comments: A fair amount of thin ice on the slabs, however, it is easily avoidable. No need for microspikes.
