Comments
Comments: Mixed melting mess on rocky branch, mostly dry down low and becoming progressively muddier, wetter, and slushier with elevation and in the afternoon. Snowline moved up a solid couple hundred feet of elevation from morning to evening. Snowshoes from the start of Engine hill to the summit and back to the same location. Nice partial undercast in the valley on the descent.

Took the high line on the way in which is a semi-consolidated track (always hard to tell if the low line falls off the contour or not) until the tracks remerged after the glades. I do love the top glades. Perfect line to Iso express which is mostly well compacted and very braided, stay left all the way up to Davis path. Some very swampy sections where I was sinking into the swamp, yay!! Summit spur has some ice and some minimal summit views. Very warm soft decaying snowpack so all the trees had significant moisture and was sinking in many steps on the descent of Iso express. Took the low line on the return of engine hill which mostly stays at the top of the lower glades. Very slushy above 2000' on the descent
