Comments
Comments: Clear trail to past the stream crossing. Then more frequent mushy snow spots. Spikes on at the Whiteface split for the top. Coming down Walden was fun with more snow. It’s a steep descent and spikes were kept on past the Whiteface split for maybe a mile or more. It was a warm day with mainly mushy snow and ice. These conditions should be similar on Thanksgiving day but the colder temperatures may turn the slush and flowing water to ice by Friday. Spikes are your friend.
Passaconaway on Thanksgiving Eve is a great tradition with this being my fourth year
