Comments
Comments: Snowshoes are not needed for this route currently. Lots of running water on the trail today undermining the ice. Some areas were deep water and slush. We donned spikes 1/3 mile in, though there was plenty of ice in the parking lot and light ice down low. We wore our spikes back down to the car. At the top, we went right on the loop. There’s a mess of blowdowns as you reach the ski area. Came back down around the other side of the loop.
