Comments
Comments: Thanksgiving hike to work up the appetite!

Snow cover until the first crossing then it was running water and rocks. Shortly after the second crossing, the snow cover got better and continued up Avalon and to Field. Field to Willey was beautiful: nice and packed. Field to the Tom Spur was a mess: A thin crust with running water underneath. Lots of breaking through. Tom Spur and AZ Trail were beautiful.

Washington and the Presis were in the clouds, but clear views in every other direction. The high winds forecasted didn't materialize: I only had a light breeze up high.

Only passed a handful of people on my way down and they were all just hitting Tom.
