Comments
Comments: Mixed bag of conditions, something for everyone. Rock spikes on maybe a 1/3rd mile in. Lots of ice flows in the middle of the trail. Snow was well packed & a solid base until just before Waumbek. Lots of wind blown drifting on the final flat push to summit. Winds were really angry at both summits. Skipped the outlook, winds were bad enough, views are limited there now anyways. Good time was made to the bottom. Maybe a 1/2” of fresh snow covered some of the ice. Conditions are changing daily, it’s that time of year.
