The final stretch of the access road to the parking lot is severely rutted and not passable by low clearance cars. Folks in Crosstreks or small SUVs with decent clearance shouldn't have much trouble, go slow and be careful. I gave a woman a round of applause for skilled driving coming out in her Forester while I was on my way in from the pull off on Route 2 by the general store. |

Quick little jaunt to get a 5th round of Waumbek done. Worst part of it was the access road. With the snow expected this week I think we will have a complete hard packed trail with no rocks or other obstacles above 3000. Still a ways to go lowe down. |
