Comments: Other than a few footsteps from what appeared to be a hunter, no one had been out since yesterday's storm.

Old Mountain Road had generally 6-8" of powder. Some moisture lurking under the snow.

Crawford Ridgepole depths ranged from 4-12" of powder due to wind.

Boney in a few places, but light snowshoes were the way to go for now, mountain snowshoes would have been clunky and Microspikes would have been spinning around in the powder.

Nice, partly sunny, winter-like late afternoon/early evening with temperatures in the upper 20s and nice alpenglow around sunset.
