Did a traverse from Lincoln Woods to Franconia Notch, using Osseo Trail which had 6-12 inches of light snow. From Flume to Liberty to Little Haystack, it was definitely more drifted, and we broke out from Liberty to Little Haystack with 2 people, so it's a better path but you would definitely want snowshoes still - very soft and loose and will drift over again. Only saw one person, on summit of LH at 4:00. Nice sunset! |
