Took Bowl Tr. up to Tower Tr. Bowl was packed(ish) with at least one set of snowshoes having been on it and then boots or boots/spikes. We used light traction and had no issues and we were able to walk "normal". Saw one with bare boots but there was a bit of slipping with them.Tower Tr was well packed. Got off of Tower and bushwhacked to the Concord NH high point. The fire tower is higher but it is in Loudon (not the Loudon HP). There was an old school canister (peanut butter jar) to sign into. Bushwhacked up to the fire tower and then descended back to Bowl and out. Snowed lightly on us the entire time. Nice morning walk. |
