Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My b*tches did great. It was my baby's 100th 4k! Saw one other pup heading back down. Not the best weather in the alpine zone for pups unless you know what you're doing.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost a pair of gloves. My smoking ones. They have burn holes in the fingers. If you find them keep them as trophies.

Comments
Comments: Snow is still loose but there's still not enough snow to warrant putting snowshoes on and the trail is fairly packed from barebooters. Also snowshoes are for losers. JK I carried mine. Closer to the summit theres some deeper drifts but the sections are short and the drifts are hard rock in between sections of icy rocks. Weather in the alpine zone was spicy. Windy, cold and not amazing visibility but doable for these tiny b*tches. Cold wind made me regret putting barbells through sensitive areas. I put my younger pup on a leash as she's not trustworthy yet to be off leash in that kind of weather, but I let my older pup fuck up the alpine zone. It's the only thing that makes her happy since she finished her grid. Besides dogs can't read signs. "Ain't no leash laws when you're drinking the claw" but I actually it was fireball I was drinking on the summit. Opted to not put traction on at all and slide back down the mountain in my fancy pants winter trail runners. Lots of people heading up. I was nice, but my dogs were totally sticking their little bony elbows out. I should teach them not to do that but I believe in hands off parenting. Overall conditions weren't too bad but don't listen to me, for the love of god, because I'm a trail runner.
