A few inches of loose unpacked snow for the entire trail. I wore snowshoes the entire time. Some exposed rocks along most of the trail, but nothing too crazy to get around with snowshoes. Shockingly I only saw three solo hikers, one who had skis with him. There were a handful of hikers about to start around 11am when I was finished. Looked like a few of them had snowshoes. But definitely a quiet day and the trail needs more people and some warms temps to get packed down nice. I discuss the trip report in my podcast as well. |
