Comments
Comments: Trail is covered with powdered snow, just down low it is a bit boney and spikes work ok because snow is not so deep. Once past the little river you can snow shoe, and will want to as snow gets deeper and spikes get tiresome. But best to wait till past the drainage flows that cross the trail, they had running water and lots of rocks some mud. Trail was broken till ~5 miles in, but at least 18” to break in the steep parts slowed us way down. Not broken at all going on to south twin, so we turned at north.
