Well I started at noon due to a short hike with cold temps. It warmed up to 16! The trail is surprisingly boney to me. I barebooted until 3500’ then put my snowshoes on. I left the snowshoes on until the junction on the way down and put on spikes for the way out. There is still open water.. and some wet spots. The top is bare rock (the slab) which is also shocking. The broke out the little between the trees on top which had 1 set of boot prints. Nice colors up top for a Tuesday. |
