Trail was very well compacted on ascent so microspikes were adequate. Snow began accumulating late morning into the afternoon, with another 4 or 5 inches of accumulation by the time I arrived at the bottom. With today's snow forecasted to end at 1 AM tomorrow, snowshoes might be warranted on the trail tomorrow morning. Fairly deep snow drifts on exposed ledge just below summit (and on trail to toilet). |
