Trails were packed perfectly for snowshoeing. Still too soft for just spikes. If I can run in snowshoes, you can hike in them. I actually did cartwheels in my snowshoes today, and they say I have no talent? Even the out and back to Willey had a nicely packed trench, it made me tingly in places with excitement. Snowed the whole hike. Not many people out because the MA folks got too scared in the snow I think. Almost everyone had snowshoes. I could tell some were jealous we could move so fast in them. Or maybe it was the music blasting from my waist belt? Or the off leash dogs? This ain’t the ADK folks. Three shots consumed in 3 hours. Glad we skipped the forth one. Sorry to the guy I almost fell on today. It’s been awhile since I’ve drunk driven my Dions. I twerked with a grey jay and he liked it so much he ate cheddar bunnies from my hand after. I have all the guys eating from the palm of my hand lately. No blowdowns, no drifts. No trail breaking. Get these peaks while they’re hot folks. But don’t listen to me. I’m just a trail runner. |
