Tons of parking! went up N Doublehead on the ski trail. Stick to the left where there are more boot prints than ski tracks. I think I'm the only one who went up that way with snowshoes so it's a little more packed, but not a lot. Definitely snowshoes here, not spikes. No view at the top because of clouds, light snow most of the time. I peeked through the cabin windows until I thought of that scene in 'Weapons' where whats her face looks through the windows and the parents are sitting there all creepy and it made me jump so I backed away from the cabin. Won't got fooled again. Slightly more view from South Doublehead, as the sky was just beginning to clear. Steep going down the New Path but not too much trouble, easy walk on the road back to the car. |
