 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lots of cars at Appalachia gave false hope. Not a commensurate number of hikers on the trail, to say the least. Ran into three other people. Heard/saw another two descending Madison. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One blow down left to bow under on VW will be a problem down the road. Appreciate the lower one being cleared and all. |

My companion kept seeing dog tracks. 🤷♂️ |

Well broken to the hut. Snowshoes do come in handy for Televators and relative softness up higher. We wore them to the foot of the final climb. Should have kept them on - Harder for a snowshoe to fall between snow-covered boulders. Good recon from a couple of gridders descending to the Col from Adams. They broke out Airline one way. |
