Comments
Comments: I wore spikes for the first mile per last report but should have used snowshoes as I was beach sand walking and not happy. After the 2nd water crossing I opted for my SS and stayed in then the rest of the day. It's nicely broken out but still a little soft so SS are the best bet especially with warm weather on the way for the next couple of days. Nobody wants fossilized postholes after the inevitable refreeze by the weekend. The trail is in good condition. Let's keep it that way!
