Started badly when straps broke on my MSR Lightning shoes at the car. They are quite old. Not happy to try this in micrlspikes, but I needed this for my Fall #47. I postholed once nearing Isolation trail and bailed. I share Abyuland's opinions about hiking without snowshoes. Right now you will absolutely posthole and trash this trail. Bushwack seemed to wander compaired to other years, but thanks to whoever did the heavy work. REI has several showshoes on sale not for less than $150. Please check them out. |
