Comments: What's that saying..."this note on trail conditions will self-destruct in 24 hours"?

Primarily wanted to throw a word of caution out - the water crossings were ice-bridged, but it's hard to tell how thick they were. Weather service is forecasting up to 2 inches of rain tomorrow, and mentioned potential for smaller streams to see increased flow. If you venture out to Owl in the next week, keep in mind those crossings might be dicey and I wouldn't completely trust the bridges at that point if they're still even intact.

There hasn't been a report on Owl in a couple weeks so I figured I'd throw one up despite the forecast - trail was in great shape start to finish. Obviously the incoming rain will change things. Bareboot/spikes for the first 7 miles to the toe of the mountain, though it was a little beachy with unconsolidated powder. Put snowshoes on for the ascent, and was happy to keep them on until I was back at Black Pond on the way out.
