Comments
Comments: Old Mountain Road was fairly well packed with a few patches of slush. Crawford Ridgepole was not nearly as consolidated and unfortunately a Microspiker parasitically postholed it late this afternoon. I did my best to clean it up in advance of the incoming weather, but if anyone bareboots here tomorrow, the trail will be trashed for the foreseeable future. Not too much melting today, but enough to make the powder sticky in places.

Partly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the upper 30s. Still some open water on Squam near the Rattlesnakes, but otherwise it appears to be majority ice-covered.
