4in diameter blow down across the trail at about 1.5 miles in. Can go over (if you are tall). 0.5 miles later a 6in diameter blow down across the trail, but easily stepped over. Thanks to whoever cut the tree across the trail about 1/2 the way up the steeps |

You start in dirt and a very little snow. I wore Hillsounds once the trail was covered for better purchase as I was expecting a lot of ice, which I found. Most of the snow is along the Carriage Road (2 ft) but well packed. Snowshoes would be overkill. Above treeline is all ice. |
