Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Connector Lot is in good shape, $5, bathrooms open. Not sure why people continue to park at the snowbank/gate on Mt Clinton Rd.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Bridged or stepover
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Went up today to clear a couple blowdowns and immediately proceeded to snap the blade on the Big Boi (in two different places, really well done Michael you dip&hit). Thankfully I still had my small saw and was able to delimb the lowest tree effectively turning it into an easy stepover (even for you Hayley). Cleaned up a few other pokey problems. Will leave the leaners until I have backup and they become more problematic.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Too cold for J, he stayed home with mom.
Bugs
Bugs: NA
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found an entire roll of toilet paper on a branch on the side of the trail…one of my weirder finds. Also found two subpar traction devices doing what they do best, just laying there after falling off someone’s foot. If you need your Yaktrak or Ice cleat to shovel the driveway Wednesday, they are at the signboard.

Comments
Comments: Spikes door to door, no need for snowshoes until Wednesday. Trail is hard and fast.
