Comments
Comments: Snowshoes went on at the car and stayed on all day. We didn’t encounter any of the tricky ice, which was nicely covered. As we headed south through Franconia Notch a little later in the day, it was snowing heavily and blowing a lot so I expect that snowshoes will be needed for the next few days. There were five of us in snowshoes packing the trail this morning.
