Comments
Comments: Two of us skied in on Haystack Rd to the North Twin trailhead and changed into snowshoes to the summit & back. The snow cover was a bit thin for snowshoes on North Twin and the bottom of Firewarden but we still felt they were the best choice. The upper part of Firewarden had 6 - 8" of unbroken snow. There was no sign left of footprints from the person who reported they did this route on Sunday. When we got to the summit we were surprised to see that Hale Brook trail was also not broken out.
