Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We had to park at the beginning of Ferncroft Road. Snow drifts got two cars stuck, so we sucked it up and added 1 mile to the hike. Even if plowed, the road is very icy.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Drifts

Water Crossing Notes: Any small crossings was frozen and bridged. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Two blowdowns down low that requires routing around them.

Comments: Friend and I broke trail in sometimes-deep drifts up to the true summit of Whiteface, so there is a decent packed trail. Not sure how long it will last.
