Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The new parking lot wasn't plowed, but there was only an inch of new powder. I was surprised to see the "donation" sign that was there in November gone. The sign now says $10 fee required with a Venmo option.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: On the way up, the stream crossing, right before the Bald Peak spur, the ice couldn't hold my weight. On the way down it did. With a few more very cold days ahead, it should be frozen over.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Only remember one blowdown that I had to step over.

Comments
Comments: I used spikes the entire time and left the snowshoes in the truck. Once I got to the ridge, I wish I had my snowshoes with me because the drifts were knee and thigh deep.
