Thanks to yesterday’s report, I knew this would be a good choice on a cold day to just put spikes on at the car and go without having to mess around with gear in the cold. My friends had done a much longer hike yesterday and wanted to do a shorter one today and I joined. Great hard packed trail of snow covering most of what would’ve been nasty ice if there wasn’t a couple inches of fresh snow on it. A nice shorter hike with easy conditions now for anyone looking to stretch their legs a bit. |
