Comments
Comments: Perfect snow for spikes up to the hut. Once past the hut, I chose to snowshoe the rest of the way: loose snow + steep = snowshoes! Some did the whole hike in spikes. Some icy, steep spots, a few slides, but mostly good conditions. The trail was out of the wind almost the entire way, with just some wind at the South summit. Coldest, windiest stretch was crossing Lonesome Lake on the way down!
