Comments
Comments: Red Hill Trail has coverage from the trailhead, but is initially a little boney. Microspikes were fine, as the trail is firmly bootpacked. If venturing onto the secondary trails, I would be on snowshoes due to the breakable crust. Still a little less than a foot of snowpack up high.

Partly sunny morning with temperatures around 20F. Didn't see any open water on the lake, at least from the ground.
