Comments
Comments: Second straight day out this weekend, and what a good one it was! Microspikes with no trouble the whole way up Webster-Jackson to the Pierce side of the Jackson summit cone, where [it will no doubt please the NETC admin to know] that I switched to snowshoes until Mizpah cutoff on the Crawford Path.

Webster Cliff Trail would benefit tremendously from more snowshoe traffic, it is narrow and postholed nastily in places.

Crawford Path is like I-93, I don't think the fine folks at Pike Industries could do any better than us hikers have done. Microspikes will probably be fine for most folks in these hard and fast conditions all the way up to Pierce. Good hiking, Think snow!!
