 | Comments: |
A delightful day, though cold. no standing around. had the wind in our faces on the descent, but it was manageable with balaclava and hooded hard shell. We used Hillsound spikes and they were the perfect choice, even though we did bring k-10s and ice axes due to the reports of ice on Stony Brook. There are a handful of thick ice flows, but easily gotten around or managed in the spikes. Saw only 4 others and 1 aforementioned pup on this trail today and had the summit to ourselves. |
