|
 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Limit 6 roadside per landowner, but less room right now due to snowbanks. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The ice bridge is still soft/slushy. I trusted it more on snowshoes than with spikes. I don't know that I'd trust it if the upcoming warmer/wetter forecast comes to fruition. |

 | Comments: |
When just taking the main trail, Microspikes are currently adequate. Some postholes in the middle stretch from a barebooter during the warmup. Could be snowshoed as well, but a little boney up top in the snow shadow. Would still recommend snowshoes on the secondary trails.
Cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the teens and light snow. |
