 | Comments: |
This is a great hike that's not a biggie and very suitable for wintertime. Nice trail conditions on the hike. Plenty of snow coverage, with no bare spots. Micro spikes the whole way, which did perfectly on the fairly hard snow and the couple of icy spots. This route doesn't really have any overly-steep sections, although having said that, the optional spur to Kinsman Flume is tricky. Bald Peak has plenty of views at the top to enjoy.
