Comments
Comments: Nice early am hike that felt like flat out summer. 50's at 8am, rising to 60's an hour later. Trail is 99.9% snow and ice free, so much of what previous poster mentioned two days ago is now gone, even on the north/dark sides of the summits. Only two 15 foot patches of ice coming down Dickey required avoiding by bushwack/walking on edge of trail, so no microspikes needed. Ledges mostly dry, though two of the steep ones coming up Welch were wet and a bit slick from runoff, no problem going up it though. Glad I did this early, it'll be mid 80's and too hot to hike later today.
