Comments
Comments: Made a nice loop up Rowe with some lesser used trails. I wore spikes round trip leaving my snowshoes in my truck. Spikes worked well as most areas were hard packed but there were sections that were soft where snowshoes would have been better. If i did thisbagain today, i would use snowshoes instead of spikes. This whole loop is good right now for snowshoes with consistent cover and minimal rocks/roots poking out. Nice view from the former warming hut location. Gunstock was pretty busy with skiers.

Mostly cloudy with temps in the upper 30s and light wind.
