 | Comments: |
Warmer than expected today, minimal winds. Trail is a highway, solid packed down. Icey in spots on the climbs down low, spikes were fine. Fast conditions, passed several with many apparently heading to Webster as the summit was quiet. The final push to top is boiler plate ice, wishing I had my crampons but I managed in spikes. Light winds views for miles. Really fast down with a few heading up. Snowshoes not needed, trail to Webster was not broken out when I started down. |
