Comments
Comments: Beautiful day. Very warm. 19 Mile Brook was very icy and boney. We wore spikes up to Zeta Pass and then transitioned to snowshoes to summit Carter Dome, South and Middle. We came down North Carter to Imp and then took the Joe Dodge Cut off and road walked back to the car. The road walk is only .04 and the shoulders were clear and wide. Half way down North Carter it became very icy with large slab on thick ice. We kept on our snowshoes as they seemed to provide better traction than our spikes but it was very boney. Had we had them, crampons would have been our choice.
