Comments
Comments: Good day out despite forecast of high winds. No wind at the start and nothing too bad at the top. Socked in but pleasant day. A couple inches of powdery snow coated everything last night. Bare boot, spikes or snowshoes could be used at lower elevations. Not much base at all. The ridge requires snowshoes at least in spots. Drifts up to a foot or more. Easy to get off trail on the N Twin Spur and could sink in a few feet there.
