Bailed out of work early needed something quick so Tecumseh was it. Snowshoes are not needed as trail is hard & fast, spikes were fine. Up & down in under 3 hours, trail is in great shape. Went left to the summit but both sides are broken out. Came down the right side, definitely seen less traffic, some drifting to start and not packed down. Trail down to Tripoli Rd is just a bathroom spot, not broken past 20-30 feet. Snowshoes will be needed if heading this way. Only 3 others seen heading down. 3 Fat Bikers starting up as I was just about done. Headlamp on from the lookout, beautiful trail at night. No views, foggy & lite snow, no wind on top. |
