Not much snow for the first mile, pretty much crusty icy trail. As you start climbing, more snow fills in the trails. After about 2 mi the snow gets deeper and I was glad I had snowshoes on. I broke trail for my friends who only wore micro spikes most of the way. On the way down I switch to microspikes, which was much better than trying to struggle with snowshoes. |
