Packed powder the entire way. Above 3000 ft it was monorail like with post holes and drop-offs if off main path. DIdn’t hit any ice patches, but still quite slippery on the spots that were the steepest. yaktraks were barely sufficient on way up. Insufficient on way down and switched to snowshoes. |
