 | Comments: |
Light Traction is fine up until the last open drainage at 3250'. From there, conditions are a little soft so snowshoes are the best option, although one can make it to North Twin summit in microspikes without damaging the trail. Between peaks snowshoes are necessary.
Trail is broken out nicely, and it is a winter wonderland above 3500'
About a half dozen other hikers out, with four heading over to Galehead, so the track should be in good shape, but expect drifting as winds pick up. |
