Comments
Comments: We wore snowshoes from start to finish. There were 3 of us and we were the only ones out there for a while. Half way of coming back out, we saw 2 other hikers, in snowshoes also, and that was it. There was a couple inches of fresh snow and all of the snow was pretty soft the whole way. There’s so much snow higher up, but the trail is packed down nicely. The summit has a layer of snow covering ice, but only one of us managed to fall. So be aware! The descent coming off Isolation was a fun and short luge of butt sledding. So fun in fact, that one of us went back up to do it again. We did not see the ISO moose, but we did see lots of bunny tracks!
