Comments
Comments: Microspikes from parking lot. Most people in spikes, a few in snowshoes. 2-3" loose snow from previous night and light snow during the day, but manageable. Tough going on a few of the steep sections but spikes were sufficient. Trail was in great shape. Packed and fast. Busy day on trail. Weather was cold, 10-15 degrees. Summit with wind was around -3 to -5 or -10. No visibility at the top. Clouds broke around noon for about 10 minutes, but wasn't on the summit to benefit. Descending was much quicker. Spent half the time on my but sledding it. Made for quick work in half the time. Beautiful snow covered trees and great conditions.
