Comments
Comments: Passed through orange gate to a small road, seen as double dashed lines on maps. There were a couple of posted signs on the north side of this road. We traveled east on the road until there were no more signs.
We then bw N a short ways before slabbing NNW. We crossed a brook, and hit a big logging road at 1700'. We followed this logging road a short while until it headed NW, and a decent skidder road headed NNE.
We followed the skidder road until it disappeared in a bowl. Then bw NE hitting the summit's SE ridge at approx 2150'. Turned NW to the recognized summit.
Breaking conditions - ideal in 1-4" fluffy snow on a hard base
Tree density - wide open/sparse hardwoods, or open soft woods
Grades - mostly easy, a few moderate short stretches.
